This means there is a gap between the canvas and the wood.

Natural or colored handmade Italian wooden frame with premium plexiglass. Acid- and lignin-free paper for color preservation and durability.
Optional: a passe-partout (mat board) for paper prints. The outer dimensions of the mat board match the size you choose. The art print itself is made one size smaller so that it fits perfectly within the opening of the white border. If you add a mat board, both dimensions will automatically adjust to each other.
